I use oil pigment sticks as a painting and drawing medium, working on canvas, wood cradle and matboard. Sizes range from 3 x 5 inches to 5 x 8 feet. The oilsticks contain pure vegetable waxes, linseed oil and pure pigments. I work automatically choosing colours, drawing the layers on, then using rags and scrapers to rub areas out and build more layers. Water colour pencils are used for the finer lines.
